Bribary and Corruption Policy

Scope

This Policy relates to all those that have a relationship with Pure Products Pty Ltd by supplying goods and/or services or any other type of product including (but not limited to) Suppliers, Vendors, Sub-Contractors,Third-Party Suppliers, Manufacturers, Consultants, Agents, Service Providers and organisations.

Purpose

This Policy has been developed to ensure the expectations we have on all those involved in any business operations with or on behalf of Pure Products Pty Ltd are met and define the outcomes resulting from any identified instance of Bribery & Corruption within our supply chain.

Definitions

We define Bribery and Corruption as:

  • Bribery is the act or appearance of offering someone money or something valuable in order to persuade them to do something for you, given with the intention to influence the ability to make objective and fair business decisions;
  • Corruption is dishonesty and illegal behaviour by people in positions of authority or power.

Policy

Pure Products Pty Ltd has a zero-tolerance policy to any form of bribery and corruption in any business dealings with or on behalf of Pure Products Pty Ltd.

We will always operate lawfully, with high business ethics and integrity and we expect our suppliers to uphold the highest standards while protecting the human rights and safety of workers in our supply chain.

All team members and others Business partners including Suppliers and Sub-Contractors must comply with all rules and regulations in the country of operation including not to give or accept any form of bribery or corruption when dealing with or acting on behalf of Pure Products Pty Ltd.

Inspection

Pure Products Pty Ltd reserves the right to inspect premises where Goods are being manufactured to ensure compliance of those premises with the Pure Products Pty Ltd Ethical Code of Conduct.

This inspection may occur at any time and without notice to the supplier, or any subcontractor contracted by the supplier to manufacture goods.

If an inspection of a facility where goods are being manufactured for Pure Products Pty Ltd discloses that the operator of the facility is in breach of this policy, Pure Products Pty Ltd may, in its sole discretion:

  • cancel any order for goods being manufactured at the facility; and
  • terminate the appointment of the supplier as a supplier to Pure Products Pty Ltd.

Pure Products Pty Ltd requires each supplier producing goods for sale within Pure Products Pty Ltd to respect, understand and adhere to the Ethical Code of Conduct and all applicable laws and regulations in the country of business.

These expectations represent a minimum (and not maximum) standard and should not be used by Suppliers to avoid achieving even higher standards.
